Abstract (EN)
The Ottoman Empire, whichdominated a wide geography, ruled for a long time in these wide lands. During this period, he managed to manage different nations (Turkish, Kurdish, Bosnian, Circassian, Laz, Greek, Armenian etc.) almost whitout any problems. When the secret of this success is investigated, the first thing we encounter is that the state has a fair management approach. The Ottoman Empire, which was known to the world for its justice, gave great importance to the justice system to be worthy of this title. Our study includes the transcription and evaluation of the Cerkes Sharia Court Record numbered 3545. In the research, brief information is given about the institution of kadi, court officials and sharia registers. Cerkes Sharia Court Record numbered 3545 consists of 98 poses in total. As the subjects mentioned in the provisions, inheritance, marriage contract, divorce, guardianship, power of attorney, alimony, purchase and sale can be counted. In this study, the socio-economic structure of Çankırı Çerkeş District has been tried to be brought to light by detailing and it is aimed to contribute to the researches that will be done from now on.
