Abstract (EN)
History, in general, is written as a result of narrations, epics, and evaluations of the findings from the past in a logical framework. Shari'arecords, on the other hand, areimportantsourcesthatrely on historicaldataand transfer them to future generations. Çermik, as it is understood from this work, is a city that exemplifies the structure of the Ottoman state, where Muslims, Christians and partly Jews lived together in peace and security. In general, people of different religions lived in different neighborhoods and lived in very close relations in terms of social and economic aspects. While Muslims are mostly engaged in agriculture, animal husbandry and military affairs, Christians have engaged in economic activities such as trade and art. In this study, it's been tried to reflect the neighborhoods, villages, social structure, economic activity areas of the city of Çermik in 1330-1336, and also names commonly used in this period, religious groups living in the city and villages and the social relations between them.
