Transcription and analysis of Ayntâb Şer'iyye Sicils Numbered 42: H. 992 - 994 / 1003 - 1004 M. 1584 - 1586 / 1594 - 1595; p. 339 - 450

Ser'iyye Sicıls reflects the political, social and economical structure, culture of the era it belongs. With its rich content, it carries a huge role in the development of Ottoman History and urban historiography. Numbered as 42, AyntâbSer'iyye Sicils consists of 450 pages in total, and the last 112 pages of it (p.339-450) are evaluated in this work. In the Sicils, besides marriage, divorcement, assets-liabilities cases, robbery, appointment of guardianship and murder events, there are documents including important subjects sent from center and endowment, hujjat, letter and collection of biographies are kept. In the light of these documents, information about the end of XVI.Ayntâb's social and political structure can be gained.
