Termination of housing and roofed workplace lease contract by lessor according to the Turkish Code of Obligations numbered 6098

Housing and roofed workplace lease contract is arranged between article 339 and 356 of the Turkish Code of Obligations Number 6098, as a type of lease contracts. Provisions regarding housing and roofed workplace lease essentially aim to protect the lessee owing to his/her weak position as a party of the lease contract. That protection reveals itself at the time of the termination of the lease contract in particular. The lessor has havier obligations in comparison with the lesseeunder the provisions regarding termination of the lease contract of the Turkish Code of Obligations. In this thesis, the termination of housing and roofed workplace contract according to he Turkish Code of Obligations by lessor are analyzed. First of all main subjects are explained such as expression, elements and legal characteristic of contract, debts of parties and praxis of housing and roofed workplace lease contract and also engaged subjects are touched on such as the inhibition of amendment and regulation which are against to lessee. After that the termination conditions within the purview of general provisions and special provisions of housing and roofed workplace lease contract by lessor are analyzed. Lastly, provisions and results of termination are approached.
