Abstract (EN)
This research was designed by using simultaneous triangulation design, one of the mixed research techniques, in order to examine the views of teachers on the development of spatial visualization skills of their students on the seventh grade "Different Views of Objects" of using GeoGebra software in mathematics lesson. The study group was selected by purposive sampling method. The study group consists of 5 secondary school mathematics teachers who actively use GeoGebra software in their lessons in the Iskenderun district of Hatay province in the 2021-2022 academic year, and 26 students (13) and not (13) who are taught with GeoGebra from the school where these teachers work. In the research, semi-structured interview form and spatial visualization test were used as data collection tools. In the analysis of the data obtained as a result of the research, content analysis and independent groups t-test were applied. According to the results of the research, as a result of the interviews with the teachers, it was concluded that the GeoGebra application has advantages such as providing students with three-dimensional thinking skills, ensuring that they are interested and attentive to the lesson, supporting their active participation in the lesson, as well as disadvantages such as not being suitable for every acquisition, lack of technological opportunities and lesson duration. . It was concluded that they carried out necessary activities and studies in the classroom for the development of spatial visualization skills and mostly benefited from the GeoGebra application. In the spatial visualization test, a significant difference was found between the test scores of the study and the students in the control group, and it was concluded that this difference was in favor of the study group.
