Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACT THE EFFECTS OF 8-WEEKS STATIC AND DYNAMIC EXERCISES WITH TRX SUSPENSION TRAINING EQUIPMENT ON BALANCE AND ANAEROBIC PERFORMANCE Süleyman ANBARCI MSc Thesis, Department of Physical Education and Sport Supervisor: Associate Professor Mürsel BİÇER June 2018, 73 pages The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of static and dynamic exercises done with TRX equipment on balance and anaerobic performance. 35 volunteers from Gaziantep University Higher School of Physical Education and Sports participated in the study. Strength training was applied to TRX Static Training group (TRXS), TRX Dynamic Training group (TRXD) and Core Training Group (CTG) for 8 weeks, 3 days a week. No training program was applied to Control group (CG). Dynamic balance and Wingate lower extremity and upper extremity anaerobic performance tests were applied to the groups. Among pre-test and post-test of the groups; It was determined that the overall stability, upper extremity peak power and lower extremity peak power index of TRXS, TRXD and CAG groups were statistically different in favor of post-test (p <0.05). It was also found that overall stability, upper extremity peak power and lower extremity peak power index among the groups did not show statistical difference (p> 0.05). Group * time interaction of upper extremity peak power was found statistically significant (p <0.05). As a result, it can be said that the TRX static, TRX dynamic and core training have positive effects on the anaerobic power and balance. Key Words: Anaerobic power, Core, Balance, TRX
