Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to examine the relationship between the 8-week training program applied to adolescent volleyball players and their mental endurance and volleyball technical skill development. Relational screening model was used in the study. 50 male volleyball players between the ages of 10-19 participated in the study. The data collection tool was applied before and after the training program. In data analysis, Paired Samples T test analysis and Pearson Correlation analysis were used in the SPSS 25.0 program. At the end of the study, it was found that there was no significant difference between the pre- and post-test mental endurance scores of the athletes (p>0.05). It was determined that there was a significant difference in the pre-post test spike, serve and headline hit performances of volleyball players (p<0.05). In addition, it was found that there were positive significant relationships between mental toughness and technical skills in volleyball players (p<0.05). As a result, it can be said that the mental endurance level of adolescent volleyball players positively affects sports-specific skills.
