Abstract (EN)
The basic aim of this expermental study is to compare the success of test group taught with the worksheets prepared suitable for the constructivist approach with the control group students? success taught with the traditioanal teaching methods at teaching of ` possibility and permutation? in 8th grade Mathematics.This research was applied in two state schools in Mudurnu in Bolu in the second term of 2007-2008 education and instructiıon year. 26 Students were in experiment group and 26 were students in control group. So in total 52 students joined the study. Success test which was developed by the researcer and its reliability calculated boforehand was applied to the experiment and control group students. Then when the lessons were given with the worksheets prepared suitable for the constructivist approach in the experiment group, the lessons were given in traditional methods in the control group. At the end of the instruction, the success test prepared to both of the groups was applied as the last test. According to the research results; it was clear that the group?s academic success educated with the worksheets suitable for the constructivist approach increased more than the group?s success educated with the traditional instruction methodsKey Words: Constructivist Approach, Work sheets
