Abstract (EN)
In this study, it has been aimed to investigate the benefits that using the method of creative drama will provide over the efficacies of combination of patterns of fundamental movement skills of the children in the age group of 9-11. In addition, it has also been tried to determine the effect of this method on subject's remember and expression of feelings. In accordance with the defined aim, the study has been carried out with 30 subjects in total, 15 as subject and 15 as control from the students of third grade in Manisa Central Primary School. The study has been applied 4 weeks - as 2 class time in a week- after 4 weeks of preparation. Throughout 4 weeks of practice, the subject group was taught some of the fundamental movement skills through he method of creative drama and the control group was taught the same basic movement skills through the method based on presentation. The evaluation of combination of patterned movements (CPM) was carried out by an Observer Group (OG) in accordance with defined criteria the statistical analysis of the remaining 3 evaluations was carried out by excluding the highest and the lowest values from data of observer?s evaluation. During the practice process, all of the subjects were given ?Weekend Homework?(WH) at the end of each practice. It has been required that the children remember the tools they have used as class time and the movement skills they have done and express their feelings. The answers that the students have given were evaluated as qualitative datum.As a result, CPM data obtained from the study were found higher and statistically more meaningful in the subject group than control group. Separately, CPM data of the girls both in subject group and control group were found higher than the boys in both of the 2 groups. In the obtained CPM data as well, the tools of subject group, which were used in the practice of experiment group were generally found in higher frequency levels in remembering the movements they learned and in interrogating the use of certain and common emotional expression than in control group.Key Words: Combination of Patterned Movement, Creative Drama, Physical Education, The Command Method Based on Presentation, Remember, Expression of Feeling
