The critical interpretation of Abdurrahman Kâmil Yetkin and short surah between Fil-Nâs

In this study, the life of Abdurrahman Kâmil Yetkin, one of the first scholars who supported the last National Struggle period of the Ottoman period in Amasya, and the short suras between the Surahs Fil-Nâs written on pages 5424-5471/11 of his interpretation, which is registered under the name "Mevâ'iz" in the manuscript no. 06 Mil Yz A 8579 among his manuscript works, have been analyzed. In the first part, information about the life and works of our author is given, and in the second part, the aforementioned work is analyzed and its main sources are indicated. Amasya has a rich history in terms of science, culture and art as well as being a politically important city where princes were raised during the Ottoman period. The Yetkin family, known as Mecdîzâdeler, contributed to this scholarly richness for generations. Abdurrahman Kâmil Yetkin is one of the most important scholars of the last period of Amasya, who realized both the Ottoman and Republican periods and played very important roles in the scientific, social and political aspects of this process. He held important positions as a muderris, preacher and mufti, and encouraged the people to fight in the national struggle with his sermons. In addition, he was engaged in science until the end of his life, raised many students and wrote many works. Many of his works hidden in the library of manuscript works are waiting to be unearthed. These works were written in various fields such as preaching, interpretation, memoirs, history of the Prophets, ethics, poetry and prose. The work we have analyzed is one of his works in the field of interpretation.
