Abstract (EN)

Pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE), sudden blockage of the pulmonary artery or its branches with thrombus. The resulting mortality is a high disease. Clinical diagnosis of anemortem of pulmonary thromboembolin is very difficult because of the specificity of the symptoms and findings. If left untreated, mortality increases to 30%, but with treatment it decreases to 3-10%. In this study, 80 patients who were diagnosed with pulmonary embolism for the first time by Computed Tomography (CTPA) for Lung Angiography were evaluated retrospectively between January 1, 2012 and December 1, 2015. The neutrophil lymphocyte ratio, platelet lymphocyte ratio, Platelet distribution volume (PDW) values were investigated for predicting mortality and prognosis. As a result; We found that the neutrophil lymphocyte ratio, the platelet lymphocyte ratio, and the platelet distribution volume (PDW) , as measured by were significant on mortality during the initial admission of PE patients at the onset.
