For this reason some undisturbed andremolded samples have been taken from these soils and unconfined compressive testshave been done. Then sensitivity degrees of every soil have been determined bymeasuring the stability values of unconfined compressive tests to each other. On theother hand some consistency, particle size and specific gravity tests have been doneto classify these soils too.By determining the degrees of sensitivity of clayey soils in Adana region,bearing capacity of these soils have been explained according to their decreasing andin creasing stability in dynamic conditions like an earthquake.Key Words: Sensitivity, clayey soil, uniaxial undisturbed strength,uniaxial remolded strength, bearing capacity.
