Abstract (EN)

In this study, the aim was to determine the level of aflatoxin and the change in the quantity ofaflatoxin according to periods in trout feed used in the trout producing farm in Adana and environs. The most important problem, which aflatoxin contaminated feed causes in troutproducing, is even at very low levels, it reduces the benefit from the feed and causesretrogreeion in growth. The search for aflatoxin B1 and total Aflatoxin (B1+B2+G1+G2) in 33 feed samples, which were collected from the farms, was done with High Pressure Liqiud Columne(HPLC). Aflatoxin B1 was found in 8 of the samples. The conclusion of the research is that none of the trout feed used in Adana andenvirons, has aflatoxin over the country limit. It seems there?s no problem with thefeed in this respect, at least there is not a legal problem.Key words : Aflatoxin, fish feed, HPLC, trout, IACII
