Effect of club management on the team performance between 10-17 ages basketball players in Adana

ABSTRACT Effect of Club Managament on the Team Performance Between 10-17 Ages Basketball Players in Adana This research was conducted to investigate the effect of management factor on the team performance who had joined the basketball contest between the seasons of 2000-2004 in Adana. The data of the research was collected by the survey which was applied on total of 15 basketball clup managers, 39 basketball trainers and 674 basketball players. Also the secondary data was collected by the written documents. At first, literature review was done about management models from past to today. As a second step data was collected about season performance of Adana's basketball teams and their club managament activity via survey. Finally club managament activity of Adana's basketball teams and their success in the season of 2000-2004 was compared and effect of club management on the team performance was determined. As a result, this research showed that there wasn't enough management support on the basketball teams of the Adana. This weak support had a negative effect on the team performance.
