Use of garbage leachate of irregular garbage storage area of Adana Sofulu for plant growing

Prof. Dr Sevilay TOPÇUIn this study, performance of removal of heavy metals from sewage sludgewhich have been formed in garbage leachate and treatment structures in garbagestorage areas was investigated by using Juncus acutus. During the study, garbageleachate was given to plants as irrigation water and sewage sludge was used asgrowing media. At the end of the trail, cobalt, iron, nickel an copper analysis ofJuncus acutus were made on soil, root, trunk and leaves of the plants.
