Özet (EN)

Purpose of the research; The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between perceived stress and trait anxiety by doing the validity and reliability study of salutogenesis health scale in adolescents. The research is descriptive and metadological. The sample of the study consisted of 705 students in 7th, 8th and 9th grades of Düzce city center who were given permission from their parents. The Salutogenesis Health Indicator Scale (ASGÖ), which is adapted to Turkish, is a one-dimensional scale consisting of 12 items with 6 answer options. Confirmatory Factor Analysis with Maximum Likelihood Estimation and Cronbach alpha internal consistency and test-retest coefficients were used to evaluate the reliability of the scale. As a result of the analysis, Kaiser-Meier Olkin value was found to be 0.945. This value indicates that the sample size is sufficient for analysis. The Bartlett Sphericity test shows that the data correlation matrix is not a unit matrix (BS-2 = 3351.25 p <0.001). One-dimensional model was obtained by MINRES factor analysis. All items of the scale were found to be positively influenced by the scale. The Cronbach alpha value of the scale was 0.90 and the test retest coefficient was 0.98 (p <0.001). There was a positive correlation between salutogenesis health scale and perceived stress and trait anxiety (for each of them (p <0.001).
