Abstract (EN)

Oil drilling is a difficult process that requires cutting-edge high technology. Both during drilling for taking oil and after taking, it is necessary to take preventative measures against wastage of resources until transported to refinery. Interrupted time due to various reasons, that is non-productive times, will result in time and cost lost at significant times. Non-productive time (NPT) analysis is successfully applied in many sectors. Time analysis has been an important reference for engineers in many areas. In terms of drilling engineering, it is a good method of analysis to reduce the possible uncertainties in the design phase of drilling operations. Defining common problems in drilling operations is of great importance in terms of taking corrective measures to reduce the deficiencies in the performance of operations. Efficient implementation of non-productive time analyzes in drilling sites, especially where uncertainty in time and costs is high, will significantly contribute to the creation of more reliable drilling project budget plans. In this study, total drilling time-based, that is, non-productive time-driven, drilling performances are discussed. NPT analysis was performed by using data of 30 active oil wells in Adıyaman region. As time period, stages were considered between beginning and finishing of the drilling. By evaluating the results, necessary measures are mentioned to prevent loss of work and labor at the stage of oil wellbore drilling and recommendations were made.
