Özet (EN)
Objective: Atopy is typically identified as individual or familial tendency as a result of the sensitiveness of individual?s by encountering with allergens in the form of protein producing immunoglobulin E reaction. In addition to history and clinical data, one of the main keystone of the atopy diagnosis is skin prick test. The aim of this study is the determination of the sensitivity and specificity of the skin test performed to the patients suspected an atopy risk in genetic with the aeroallergen mixture, carrying out skin prick test in the different spots with solution prepared by eight kind of aeroallergen solution and in equal amount mixture of these aeroallergens. Materials and Methods: 91 female, 49 male of the 140 patients with atopy suspicion who applied to Cukurova University Medicine Faculty Head of Dermatology Clinic was taken to the study during July-October 2012. The ages in the patient group vary from 8 to75 and the average age was 32,8±13,7. The skin prick test was applied on different spots by using eight kind of aeroallergens and the solution prepared by equal amount of these allergens. Findings: 6 of 140 observed patients in this study were eliminated as their prick tests results were not convinient for skin prick test measures. Among 65 patients, detected positive reaction to the any allergens of standard skin prick test, 62 showed positive reaction to the mix prick test regardless the fact that 3 did negative. 72 of the patients with positive reaction to mix prick test, 62 appointed positive reaction to the any allergens of standard skin prick test while 10 did negative. In the standard skin prick test, house dust mite 2 showed up with the highest postive rate. Through the diagnosis test measurements done by epi-info package program, the sensitivity as %95,4, specifity as %85,5, positive predictability as %86,1, negative predictability as %95,2, accuracy rate as %90,2 was determined. Conclusion: As a result, in the area where skin prick test positive is not too high, it is thought that mix prick test as a cheap reliable and practical scanning test can be used for the patients who have suspects of atopy
