Özet (EN)

The aim of this study was to determine acute effects of aerobic and anaerobic exercises on flexibility performance. Twenty sedentary male subjects were voluntarily participated in the study. Hip-hamstring, neck-trunk, shoulder, and ankle flexibility performances were acutely measured with four trials as pre-warming up (1), post-warming up (2), after anaerobic exercise (3), and after aerobic exercise (4), randomly. Repeated measures one way ANOVA and Bonferroni correction tests were used for statistical analysis. According to obtained data, flexibility performance statistically increased after warm-up and aerobic exercise when compared the other two trial (p<0.05). There was no difference between pre-warming up and after anaerobic exercise trials in flexibility. In conclusion, it could be said that general warm-up and aerobic exercise positively affect flexibility performance, however anaerobic exercise does not affect or negatively affect, by flexibility region.
