The national integration crisis in africa; the case of study: South Sudan

In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the problem of national integration in Africa over Southern Sudan. In Africa, which is the most common continent of colonialism, colonialist movements, from the 1950s to the present day, are still being analyzed and the achievements of independence still going on. There are determinations that the problem of national integration in African countries becomes apparent because the borders of the continent have been determined without regard to the social structure and demographic characteristics of the continent. Therefore, the states formed as a result of the lively processes are states in the nature of "nation state". However, it is important to note here that; it is tried to be explained within the context of the issue that the indigenous people who have passed the citizenship of the "nation-state" from the tribal membership are not aware of this situation. When the independence movement spreading throughout the continent, it has been found that the African nation has begun to raise awareness of being a nation. However, it has been found that, over a long period of time, states with conscious societies that have no extreme conditions and successful progress towards becoming a nation-state have failed unsuccessful societies with troubled societies that have not survived extreme conditions. Such problematic countries are being addressed under the title of the national integration problem. The case of Southern Sudan, which gained independence in the near term, is examined in detail in reviewing and considering the issue of national integration in Africa. As a result, our study is mainly assessed in the case of South Sudan, determining that it is the "national integration" problem, which is one of the most chronic problems of African countries. The order patterns of the countries and the reasons for the inconsistency in the system and structure to be applied are brought together. Key Words: Africa, National İntegration, South Sudan, State
