Legends of Afyonkarahisar (Review-Text)

Compilation has an important place in folklore studying that analyzing traditions, customs and believes from the past and ancestors. Also this letters analyze the structure of community except written documents. Because every community has a typical construction. Everything that forms human's spiritual construction involve folklore. In this study legends are compiled and analysed by going counties and villages of Afyonkarahisar. Changing world accompany changing culture. This culture is sometimes forgotten even disappear in time. We studied to transfer this legends from generation to generation and not to disappear. And this study is recorded by compiling studiously. Our thesis has been reviewed by the Performance and Commitment Theory. The method of field research was used in the study. The purpose of the study is to observe the source by seeing the person in the fulfillment environment, providing active participation. Key Words: Legend, compilation, folklore, culture, belief
