Autobiographic traces in Ahmet Erhan's poetry

This study mainly aims to study the autobiographic aspect of Ahmet Erhan's poetry. To this end, all of Ahmet Erhan's poems were analyzed, and compared with his biography, the relationship between his life and poetry was tried to be determined. In the introductory part of this study, which consists of five chapters, the study's scope, purpose, method, importance, and limitations were determined. In the second part, which constitutes the theoretical and conceptual framework, the autobiography was defined. Also, the controversial aspects of autobiography were briefly mentioned by using the different views of researchers, critics, and authors, and the problems while examining autobiographic factors of a text were emphasized. In the third part of the study, Ahmet Erhan's biography and works were represented. In the fourth part, firstly, the autobiographic aspects of Ahmet Erhan's poetry were examined in the context of his poetics, then one of the main features of Ahmet Erhan's poetry was determined as individuality, and this feature has never changed from the beginning. It is seen that Ahmet Erhan's poetry has autobiographical elements that this situation is closely related to his poetics. Subsequently, the overlapping aspects of Ahmet Erhan's life and poetry are discussed in detail under different titles. In the conclusion part, based on the findings obtained from the scope of the study, it has been concluded that Ahmet Erhan is the subject of Ahmet Erhan's poetry, and his life is one of the main themes of his poetry.
