A reaserch on performance evaluation of supplier's by AHP and TOPSİS hybrid metod

People have to make a decision among the choices which life brings about. Deciding, is an action of choosing available options to achieve a goal. This choice is what makes the competition exist. In order to be a competitor in this competion and survive it, it is crucial to choose suppliers wisely, which is the first link of the chain and evaluating them in a right way. Evaluating suppliers, which aims to choose the optimal service provider, is the methodology of making a call on versatile choices of related or non-related options in which various important matter already exist. Making the right call is the only way to ensure the continuity and improve the efficiency. It is not wrong to consider the companies as the complete picture of essential pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. Each single piece must fulfil its duty, therefore these pieces must be checked incessantly and insufficent ones must be procured or changed. In that study, supplier evaluation form, through which the company evaluated the services of supplier, used to work on a simple basis. Results of a survey conducted on volume managers revealed that more accurate results can be obtained by using AHP and TOPSIS mixed method and 'Supplier Evaluation Form' of the company gives more accurate results.
