Abstract (EN)
Impregnated papers used as a coating material in wood-based composite, especially in HDF parquets, were improved by using the Taguchi Experimental Design method by changing the input parameters of the production process. In determining the factors and interactions to be evaluated, the production process of a large-scale production facility with an important capacity value in the sector was observed, and three factors that affect the product quality characteristics and thought to be the most important, consisting of Al2O3 particle size, surface modifier agent and melamine powder raw material were evaluated. The experiments were carried out in repeat three times using the L18 orthogonal array. Color and brightness measurements and sensory analysis method, which takes into account the number of stains in the sample, were also used as quality characteristics. Whether the experimental factors have a significant effect on the quality characteristics was tested separately by ANOVA analysis. Only 57% of the effect of the evaluated factors on the result could be expressed in the model (R2adj = 0.5785). The effect of other factors that could not be taken into consideration on the model was also too high to ignore. After the statistical analysis, it was estimated that the best value obtained was A2 in the melamine powder raw material, 30-60 µm in the particle size and N-((3-trimethoxysilyl) propyl) ethylenediamine in the surface modifier agent. The validation experiment result showed that it was consistent with the analysis result. Analysis of statistical data was supported by SEM images.
