Employee job satisfaction in family medicine

Health sector in Turkey has gone into change taken into account the practices in the world countries because the system is in the situation of not be able to reply to service in the last years and it has always halting sides. After Basic Health Services Project published in Official Journal in 1997, Transformation in Health Program was prepared fort he purpose of organization of health services effectively, productively and justicely in every section of society and providing finance in 2003. In 2004, with „The Law About Family Practice Pilot Practice‟ published in Official Journal, it was aimed to perform all Turkey systematically and coordinately. Edirne put into practice as fourth city in the pilot practice on 01.12.2006. In this study, after the transition period in Family Practice which is a new practice with transformation and reform period in health,it is aimed to be evaluated job satisfaction of doctors including the system in Edirne. Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale which is accepted in the light of purpose has been practised family doctors who service in the first step. .More than half of family doctors who give services in Edirne,have job satisfaction moreover,near of half have a high satisfaction. In the research; number, percentage distribution, descriptive statistics of variables for doctors have been done and then the questionnaire results of doctors‟ socio- demographic changing variable groups have been compared and information has been gained relates to doctors‟ situations.In the research, then with the purpose of comparing socio- demographic variable groups‟ total point average: „ One Way Variance Analysis‟ has been carried out. Finally,in the research, in order to determine the differences between the groups, which were obtained meaningfully, „Tukey- B Multiple Comparison Test‟ has been carried out.
