Abstract (EN)

With the latest technological developments in the electrical energy sector, in the existing electricity network, subscribers in the status of consumers can also become producers and integrating energy storage systems into the electricity grid. It is envisaged that the traditional grid with large power and few power generation plants will be replaced by the smart grid with small power and many power generation units. As a result of this situation, the transition to smart grids will become inevitable with the changes that will occur in traditional electrical networks and the impact of digital transformation processes. In addition to the technical benefits that the high-security peer-to-peer structure provided by blockchain technology, which has been the pioneer of change in almost every sector in recent years, will provide in the management and storage of data traffic in smart networks. With the use of smart contracts in smart grids, electricity subscribers' obligation to use wet signatures and paper in all processes that start with a subscription request, continue with energy trade, and end with the termination of the subscription process, is eliminated as a result of this it provides advantages in "Reducing Carbon Footprint", "Sustainability" and "Efficiency". In this study, information on how blockchain technology can be integrated into smart grids, which is a part of the energy sector, is presented in detail, as well as how an electricity subscriber can perform all transactions through blockchain. In addition, an example of a smart contract has been created to be used for realization of these transactions.
