Bacteriologic, parasitologic and fungal experiments in blue crabs (Callinectes sapidus, Rathbun 1896) captured from Akyatan lagoon (Adana-Karatas)

In this study, the blue crabs (Callinectes sapidus) captured from The Akyatan Lagoon (Adana-Karataş), were made investigations to bacteriologic, parasitic and fungus. The samples, between 01 October 2011- 01 October 2012 each months and in 2013-2014 only summer days, inside fences trap with nets and around fences trap with hoop nets from connection between lagoon and sea area were made. During investigation, 501 blue crabs were captured to examine. Taken hemolymph and other specimens from crabs were stained with different stain methods to using microscope were examined. Also in this study were used PCR technique to consolidate to obtained results. As a result of this study; Acinetobacter baumannii, Acinetobacter lwoffii, Aeromonas cavaie, Aeromonas hydrophila, Serratia rubidea, Vibrio alginolyticus, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Vibrio vulnificus, Vibrio mimicus, Citrobacter freundii, Enterobacter aerogenes, Enterobacter cloacae, Escherichia vulneris, Klebsiella phenmonaie, Klebsiella oxytoca, Moraxella sp., Proteus mirabilis, Pseudomonas sp., Micrococcus sp, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus sp. Bacteria belonging to genuses; as a parasitic; Ichthyophthiris multifilis, Cryptobia sp., Trypanasoma sp., Cloronorchis sp.'s metascerceria, amoeboid trofont to belong Hematodiniumsp., Metacestoda, spore of Microsporidians , Amesonsp., Trematodes metacerceria; as a fungus; Oospore and Lagenidium sp. zoospore were found.
