Determination of population dynamics parameters of silvery pond fish (Carassius gibelio Bloch,1982) in Akyatan lagoon (Karataş - Adana)

Population parameters of Silvery Pond Fish (Carassius gibelio), which were sampled monthly for 12 months between March 2019 and February 2020 in Akyatan Lagoon (Adana), were determined. A total of 234 Silvery pond fish were obtained, consisting of 207 female and 27 male individuals. The weight values of the individuals whose age distribution was determined as 0+ and VI were between 47.73 and 660.01 g, and the total length was determined between 14.0 cm and 33.0 cm. The age of first sexual maturity was determined as I (17.50 cm ). Mature female individuals are seen between March and October; spawning periods are mostly between March and May.
