Al Imran Verse 7. Approach of the Sunni and Shiite Tafsir

In our study, the 7th verse of Surah Al-Imran was examined. The terms in the verse are emphasized one by one and it is tried to explain what is the murad of these terms. While doing this, the views of Shiite and Sunni four examiners were used in order to better understand both Sunni thought systematic and Shia thought systematic. Our study consists of introduction, two chapters and conclusion. Information about the subject, aim, method and conceptual framework of our study is given under the title of Introduction. Later, the lives of the authors whose opinions were consulted in the thesis were briefly introduced. In the first part of our study, the general approaches of the authors to the verse of Al Imran 7, their views on the reason of the verse, their approaches to the concepts of muhkem, umm al-kitap and mutashabih are stated. In the second part, the approaches of these eight authors to zeyğ, zitne, te'vil and rasihun concepts are discussed. Before giving opinions of the commentators about the concepts, dictionary and term meanings are stated. Under each heading, the views of both Sunni and Shiite commentators are mentioned. In addition, after providing Shiite and Sunni views in each section, at the end of the section, the aspects in which the Shiite and Sunni commentators are common or different were evaluated and the views were compared. Our study concludes with the conclusion part which includes general evaluations and suggestions for new study participants.
