Belief in the hereafter in Alevi-Bektashi sources

Ever since mankind has tried to have people questioning their nature and meaning. Death and the afterlife, the end of the world's life, attracted the curiosity of humanity in every period. Religion has brought answers to these serious questions and problems of humanity while humanity is trying to solve these serious questions and problems. Regardless of the nature of almost every religion after the world life, that is to say that the signs of belief. In Islam, especially in verses that were nazil in the Mecca Period and after the verses that are accepted as the second source of belief in the Hereafter is discussed. Even faith in the Hereafter is one of the principles of faith. The life of the Hereafter, which is committed and informed by the basic Islamic clerks, has been handled in different ways by various schools and movements within Islam. In this study, we tried to show the perception of the Hereafter in the Alevi-Bektashi tradition and the places where this perception, if any, coincides with the general Islamic assumptions. When the Alevi-Bektashi classics and other Alevi sources are examined, it will be seen that there is a belief in the hereafter that complies with the general Islamic principles in addition to showing some different approaches. This idea forms the basis of our study. The belief in the Hereafter and the perception of the Hereafter in Alevi-Bektashi sources, which overlap with the belief and perception of the Hereafter in the general Islamic sources, are sometimes interpreted differently between the Alevi-Bektashi masses; some cases were also observed.
