Alevi-Bektashism is a controversial political topic that has various speculations on the ideological and political part of the topic. Since the topic is very controversial, it is very important to collect and serve the historical knowledge, which is related to Islamic law, in an objective way. In this study, Fiqh knowledge and information were collected from main sources of Alevi-Bektashism?s traditions and views. When those sources are examined in terms of fiqh, it can be easily seen that the spiritual leaders of the community has been following the rules and traditions of Hanafi madhab. The worship ceremonies of the community have been Sunna based, as well as transaction. However the early thoughts of Alevi-Bektashi believes did not contain Madhab of Imamiyye traditions and believes. All of the Imamiyye madhab rhetoric were included in the tradition later. Furthermore, it can be said that, although members of Imamiyye Madhab introduce themselves as members of Alevi-Bektashism, this only stays in a theoretical way but not practical.
