Abstract (EN)

Today, the importance of technological knowledge, tools and facilities for organizations is undeniable. Technological knowledge, tools and facilities can contribute to increasing the efficiency of institutions and enable them to provide better services to citizens. For technology usage to be truly beneficial, it must first be embraced by the employees. It is believed that the supervisor support is a critical factor in achieving this acceptance. This study investigates the impact of perceived supervisor support on the adoption of technological knowledge, tools and facilities by employees. The aim of the research is to emphasize how crucial technology is for public institutions, given their structure, significance in society, and functioning, and to reveal the role of managerial support in the adoption of technology by public employees. Survey method, a quantitative research approach, was used in the study. The questionnaire form was distributed online to employees of public institutions in Şırnak and 152 people participated in the survey. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS. The analysis results indicate that employees' perception of managerial support has a positive and significant effect on their level of technology acceptance. It is expected that this research will contribute to encouraging managers to promote the widespread and effective use of technology in public institutions.
