Abstract (EN)

The aim of the study is to determine the severity and intensity distribution of the noise generated during different periods and operations in the TCEEGE port. As a method, 8 different measuring stations were identified on the Entrance, CTS, Docks A, Docks B, Docks C, A area, C area and maintenance for mapping noise levels in TCEEGE port. The coordinates of the noise measurement stations were determined with GPS Essentials application. To measure the noise levels, the calibrated SL-814 brand noise level meter was used. In the 8 measurement stations selected and coordinated, the noise measurements were performed on 10 June 2019 (1 Day) between 10.00-12.00 in the morning, between 1.00-3.00 in the afternoon and 3.00-5.00 in the evening. The noise values and the coordinates of the stations as a result of the measurement were entered into the map in the form of noise levels by using Arcgis 10.4.1 Desktop (Interpolation Inverse Distance Weighted) package program and the maps showing the noise pollution of the work place in the morning, noon and evening hours were extracted separately. As a result of the study, the noise levels at Noon and Dock A were found to be the highest and this could be explained by the increase in operation and traffic. Noise values can be explained not within normal limits. Keywords: Aliağa, Noise Pollution, GIS, Maps, TCEEGE
