Özet (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to investigate the production potential of alkaline activated concrete at activation temperatures of 25, 60 and 90 ° C by preferring chrome slag and waste marble powder ground with the same fineness as cement instead of using cement in concrete production. Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) (16, 18 and 20 molarity values) and sodium silicate (Na2SiO3) solutions were used as alkali activator. The ratio of NaOH / Na2SiO3 in the mixtures was determined as a result of preliminary experiments and the ratios giving the highest compressive strength were preferred in the rest of the study. For alkali activation, temperatures of 25 oC, 60 oC and 90 oC were applied. The activation temperatures of 60 oC and 90 oC were maintained for 24 hours. In the study, the ratio of the liquid (NaOH+Na2SiO3)/ binder (slag + marble powder) was determined as 0.40. For this purpose, different mortar samples were prepared by substituting waste marble powder in ratios of 10%, 20% and 30%. For mortar samples, consistency determination and socket start and end time determination tests were performed. Concrete samples, compressive strength, ultrasound, capillarity and unit weight tests and XRF, XRD and SEM analysis were performed for each temperature.
