Aktionsforschung im kontext der deutschlehrerausbildung: Ihre bedeutung, prinzipien und anwendungsbereiche

Action research is a type of research that has been a pioneer of change and development that has shed light on both scientists and educators in many areas such as identifying problems, examining identified problems, offering solutions to this problem, and finding the most effective ways to solve the problem since the earliest times of history. One of the most important areas where this type of research is widely used is the field of education. Education is one of the most important steps in the development and progress of a society and through education, solutions to problems can be found for the development and progress of society. In this study, Action Research is discussed in the context of German Language Teaching, its importance, principles and application areas are described, the syllabus of the German Language Teaching department and the Bologna Information Package are examined. In the practical part of the study, interviews were conducted with three German teachers, three participants in the Practical Exploration Project (PEP), a project in which Action Research was used, and a Teaching Learning German (DLL) instructor/mentor in the form of various questions and answers, and the level of benefit of PEP implementation, Action Research and the use of Action Research to teachers and students was revealed. In the original part of the study, the integration of Action Research into the German Language Teaching undergraduate programme was discussed and interpreted and constructive suggestions were made. When the data obtained were evaluated, it was stated that Action Research and PEP were efficient and effective for pre-service teachers and teachers in terms of learning outcomes through interviews and forms with participants and instructors
