Abstract (EN)
This research was carried out to identify and examine the dialects of bilingual speakers living in Altınözü district of Hatay, which has hosted many civilizations. For this purpose, texts were collected from 18 people from 18 settlements using the sampling method and these collected texts were transcribed. Then, the differences that emerged were determined by comparing the texts with modern Turkey Turkish. These comparisons were also made with Hatay dialect. In the research findings, sound changes have been determined in the dialects of bilingual speakers living in Altınözü district, as in the historical development of Oghuz Turkish, and in many Anatolian dialects today. The aspects that have the same usage with the standard language and the aspects that differ according to the stand-ard language were also determined in the research. One of the issues identified from the dialects of bilingual speakers living in Altınözü district is the code change seen in bilingual speakers. It is seen that some case suffixes are used interchangeably. We see that some state suffixes are used interchangeably. One of the results obtained in this study is that the research will constitute one of the steps to be taken in the preparation of dialect studies about bilingual spea-kers.
