Determination of antimicrobial activities of some grape (Vitis vinifera L.) cultured in Anatolia

Abstract (EN)

In this study, ethanol-water extracts obtained from 8 grapes (Vitisvinifera L.) varieties (Sauvignon Blanch, Viognier, Narince, Malbec, Syrah, KalecikKarası, Öküzgözü and Boğazkere) were tested for the presence of Enterobacteraerogenes (ATCC 13048)Salmonellainfantis (9), Listeriamonocytogenes, Klebsiellapneumoniae (13), Pseudomonasaeruginosa (DSMZ 50071), Pseudomonasfluorescens, Salmonellakentucky (10), Enterococcusfaecalis (ATCC 29212), Listeriainnocua, Salmonellaenteritidis (ATCC 13075), Enterococcusdurans, Salmonellatyphimurium, Candidaablicans (DSMZ 1386), Enterococcusfaecium (4), Staphylococcusaureus (ATCC 25923), Staphylococcusepidermidis(DSMZ20044), Bacillussubtilis (DSMZ 1971), Escherichiacoli (ATCC 25922), Saratiamarrescens (ATCC 13048)strains were studied using Disk Diffusion (DD) Method and Minimum Inhibition Concentration (MIC) methods and the results were compared with 18 different standard antibiotic results. The disk diffusion test results of the study showed that the Sauvignon Blanch variety had an effect on 6 microorganisms with zone diameters varying between 7,00 and 12,33 mm and that the viognier variety had zone diameters ranging between 7,00 and 15,66 mm and was effective on 9 microorganisms. It was found that the zone diameter ranging from 7,00 to 9,66 mm was effective on 6 microorganisms and the diameter of the syrah variety was between 7,00-20,33 mm 7 microorganisms were found to be effective on the micro-organism, whereas the Kalecikkarası bifurcation was effective on the microbes of 9 microorganisms with the zone diameters varying between 7,00-10,33 mm and that the Öküzgözü species had the zone diameters varying between 7,00-17,33 mm and the microorganisms were effective on the 13 microorganisms and the Boğazkerespecies zone diameters ranging from 7,00-19,66 mm and 15 microns the organism has been found to be effective on the obsessive. MIC test results showed that grape extracts were effective at concentrations between 0.039 and 20 mg / mL. Both S. infantis, E. faecium, S. aureus, and S. epidermidis were identified as the most susceptible microorganisms, and none of the grape extracts were found to be the most resistant microorganism that did not show any antimicrobial activity.
