Visual design elements consist of items that include information on social and cultural structures of institutions and societies. These elements include a wide variety of information from social life to moral values. It is known that visual elements have shown development together with social developments in historical process, thus forming today's modern visual communication design. The drawings of the human beings for various needs in the first age constitute the bases of today's visual communication concept. Human beings have developed different communication systems by establishing connections with symbols and signs throughout history. The fact that the signs, symbols and designs used by civilizations that ruled in Anatolia in different times are still used today is a good example for this situation. Social development has affected the development of visual elements, and constituted the basis of today's visual design studies. In this context, one of the fields in which this process can be viewed is the corporal communication elements in the axis of visual design. The corporate identity design that includes the name of a product and the emblem of an institution, the colors used or the font of the text have all important places in today's institutions. The starting point of the study is defined by the use of the graphic elements of the Anatolian Civilizations in today's world. The basis of the study is the fact that the symbols that has important roles in today's corporate identity studies was inspired by the signs, symbols and designs of the Anatolian Civilizations. The similarity between the historical signs, symbols and designs and their today's being used in corporate communication studies constitutes the subject matter of this study. In the study, the relation between this similarity and the corporate identity, vision and mission have been examined. The study in general consists of theoretical and practice parts. In the theoretical part, the descriptive model technique has been used as the general scanning model. The relevant literature was provided by the scanning technique. In the practice part of the study, the use of the visual elements of the Anatolian Civilizations in corporate identity studies in today's world is given. Furthermore, the first usage of these visual elements and their modern use that is stylized with graphic design are analyzed. Suggestions and conclusions are given in the lights of the obtained data.
