Abstract (EN)

Anise (Pimpinella anisum L.) is an annual plant containing essential oil and used as a spice. In this study, the effects of winter and summer sowing and different seed ripening periods on agronomic and quality characters of three different aniseed genotypes with high commercial value were determined under the ecological conditions of Diyarbakır Dicle District. Three aniseed populations (Denizli, Çeşme, Burdur) were used as material in the study which was carried out according to the Split Plots in Coincidence Blocks experimental design. Plant height, number of branches, number of umbrellas per plant, number of seeds per umbrella, thousand grain weight (g), seed yield per plant (g), seed yield (kg/ha), essential oil ratio, essential oil yield and essential oil components were evaluated. As a result of the research, it was determined that winter sowing gave better results in terms of seed yield, the highest seed yield was obtained from Burdur ecotype grown as winter (91.38 kg/da) and the lowest seed yield was obtained from Denizli ecotype grown as summer (30.56 kg/da). In terms of essential oil content, it was observed that summer sowing gave better results (3.44%) and the highest essential oil content (3.70%) was obtained from Denizli genotype harvested in the early period. ktır
