Abstract (EN)
Intensive care units are the sites in where the hospital-acquired infections are mostly seen. Hospital-acquired infections are severe issues leading to high mortality. In this retrospective study, we aimed to compare the distribution, causative pathogens and antibiotic resistance of pathogens of hospital-acquired infections in patients followed and treated in 2011-2014 in Dicle University, Level III intensive care unit of Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation. Ventilator–associated pneumonia were the most recognized hospital-acquired infections in hospitalized patients in 2011-2014. The most frequently isolated pathogens was gram-negative bacteria. The most frequently isolated Gram-negative bacteria of respectively A.baumani new, K.pneumoniae was P. aeruginosa and E. coli. Reproducing the most common gram-positive bacteria in water E.faecalis, S. aureus and S. epidermidis took place in the first place. Antibiotic resistance is evaluated; Imipenem and meropenem antibiotic resistance development in a high rate of over 90% for A.baumani colistin was found to be above 3%, while the development of resistance is concerned. K.pneumoniae and P. aeruginosa, especially for watching less than 20% of the meropenem resistance to gentamicin and ciprofloxacin resistance was observed growth remained around 40%. High resistance to E.coli (100%) cefazolin, ceftriaxone, tetracycline and the development of resistance was observed for tikatsil. The highest resistance S.aureus (100%), ampicillin, methicillin, penicillin, piperacillin, piptazobakta, cefepime, cefoxitin, cefotaxime, ceftriaxone, cefuroxime and ciprofloxacin were against.
