Joint stock company share holder dividend

This thesis is prepared to establish the boundaries of the dividends owned by the corporation shareholders and the rights carried within.In the first chapter, general outlines of profit and dividend concepts are examined with the vested right attribution of dividends, which is the touchstone of our subject, as well as emergence of the right to dividends.In the second chapter, distribution of dividends in publicly traded corporations and closely held corporations is analyzed separately and the subject of advance dividend, which will also be applicable to closely held corporations with the new Commercial Code no. 6102, is thoroughly mentioned.In the third and final chapter, the subjects of elements that are limiting the distribution of dividends and expiration of the right to dividends are discussed.Keywords1.
