Özet (EN)

This study, includes helminth fauna of Mauremys rivulata (Valenciennes, 1833), spreading in the vicinity of Antalya. As a result of the investigation, from the internal organs of the 20 individuals which were collected between March 2009 and October 2010, six helminth species, (Telorchis stossichi, Patagium lazarewi, Polystomum ocellatum, Serpinema microcephalus, Spironoura armenica and Spiroxys contortus) with the total number of 1731 helminth individuals, were found. The identified species, Telorchis stossichi and Patagium lazarewi belongs to subclassis Digenea, Polystomum ocellatum to subclassis Monogenea,, Serpinema microcephalus, Spironoura armenica and Spiroxys contortus to the phylum Nematoda. In addition, some larvae of Digenea and Nematoda were also found. Polystomum ocellatum is the new record for freshwater turtles, living in Turkey and Spiroxys contortus is new record for M. rivulata, living in Turkey.
