Abstract (EN)
This study was carried to reveal the Kabakulak morphologically which is describing as subspecies of domestic hair goat raising in Antalya and Muğla provinces. The animal material of study consists of 297 head goats of approximately one year old, which were raised in 8 livestock managements located in Elmalı and Kaş districts of Antalya and Fethiye districts of Muğla. In this study, least square means obtained from wither height, rump height, body length, heart girth, ear length and live weight measurements were found as follows; 76.93, 75.6, 75.88, 85.32, 25.28 cm and 42.42 kg, respectively. In addition to these measurements, the head and body color were evaluated separately, araund the ear, muzzle, eye and forehead color, which are thought to belong to this type in head color, were determined, horn, wattle and beard presence were identified.
