An application of balanced scorecard (bsc) as a strategic management tool in Bornova Municipality

The goal of this thesis is presenting of a performance measurement system in public sector. The internal and external performance of a non-profit-organization Bornova Municipality House is examined by using BSC into performance measurement system. The Balanced Scorecard focuses primarily on internal structure, finance and business processes of an organization and its external circumference. In the implementing phase, not only the internal assets of Bornova Municipality as financial structure and internal-processes but also the expectations of Bornova?s citizens and Municipality?s sources with an enquiry have been examined. Finally, the suitable strategic plans have been chosen and aligning to the strategic map. In this article, it is representing that the Balanced Scorecard application had used as a strategic planning tool in Bornova Municipality House.
