Mediation fee

Mediation, which is one of the alternative dispute resolution methods, has been included in our law by virtue of entry into force of Mediation in Civil Disputes No. 6325 (CMCD). With the implementation of mediation, which helps to reduce the workload of the courts, plays a role in the performance of justice services in terms of the effective resolution of disputes for the future, and as a litigation condition; it is important whether the mediator, who is actively involved in our law, receives a fee within the scope of mediation activity and the conditions of the aforementioned fee. Therefore, the subject of this study is the mediation fee. In the first part of the thesis, alternative dispute resolution methods are briefly mentioned, then mediation, which is one of these methods, is explained in general. In the second part of the thesis, the mediation fee is discussed in detail.
