The effects of the Arab spring on the republic of Niger

"Arab Spring" or "Arab People's Uprisings" of the end of 2010 is the reflect of the international and geopolitical problems across the borders and influencing geographical and human factors. The increasing number of popular revolts, the wave of the bloody chaotic environment in and around the country has brought about the development of the power of the demoltion. The multifaceted problems such as the turmoil of civil war, the deepening of sectarianism and the violence of radical Islam, the power of radical Islam, the problems of internal and external refugees become transnational problems, the differentiation of terrorism and the use of Great Powers to the forefront and the military interventions have become a frenetic. These versatile traumatic effects of the 21st century brought about quite a bit of trouble to Niger, a country located in the Sahel region. Located in the Sahel region, the Republic of Niger is a country with a reserve in terms of African geopolitics surrounded by Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad, Algeria, Libya, Mali and Nigeria. As it is well known,in February 2011 Libya, Niger's northern neighbor, has shown that the violence of civil war has an influence in the international arena. On the other hand, Niger's southern neighbor, Nigeria, is aware of the devastating and destructive activities of the illegal armed organization Boko Haram. In Niger's Western neighboring Mali Republic, terrorist groups such as the Islamic Maghreb Al Qaeda Organization, MUJAO, Ansar-Dine terrorist organizations and MNLA continue their activities. To be understood, Niger is a country that is among the three major dangers and whose strategy is capable of influencing regional balances. As a matter of fact, this study was conducted by examining the effects of the Arab Spring on the problems of the neighboring countries on Niger and the direct political, socio-cultural, economic and military influences on Niger. Niger, which finds itself unprepared in the midst of the adversities such as the Arab Spring triggering the crisis in Mali, the spread of insecurity in Libya, and the increasing violence of Boko Haram attacks in Nigeria, is a country that should be taken into consideration due to geopolitics and geostrategy in the region. This country, which cannot provide enough resources even for its growing population, has hosted many irregular refugees from 2012 until this time. The resources allocated to the refugees from the meagre budget have affected negatively the country's economy and socio-cultural infrastructure. Surrounded by desert, Niger is aware of the need to take safety precautions because it is in constant evolution due to the difficulty to control the borders, and because it is dealing with arms and drug trade or the issue of the immigrant. With per capita income, Niger, one of the poorest countries in the world, has been looking for power by joining regional organizations (CILSS, G5 Sahel...) because it is difficult to get funds alone. At the same time, there is no debate from international institutions and guarantors in the face of such enormous problems that he can not get from his superiors. Indeed, Niger has begun to take concrete steps to ensure the safety of these troubled problems, allowing them to establish military bases of great forces in the nastiest lands.
