Conditional clauses in Arabic Language

There are many features and kinds of sentences in Arabic. One of these sentences is the conditional clauses. The conditional statements are sentences in which the occurrence of an action depends on a particular condition. In Arabic, the conditional clauses are the sentences that are formed by the semantic relationship between two independent sentences of some conjunctions which are called conditional conjunctions. In this way, the conditional clauses consist of three elements; conditional clause, conditional conjunctions and answer clause. Each of these elements has its own characteristics and types. In this study, conditional clauses have been examined. This research consists of introduction, two sections and conclusion. In the introduction part, information about the subject, purpose, scope and method of research is given. In the first section, the definition of conditional clauses and the elements constituting the conditional clauses are examined. The conditional conjunctions which form the conditional sentences are discussed widely from different perspectives. Then conditional sentences and the characteristics of these sentences mentioned. In the second section, subjects related to the general terms of the conditional sentences are discussed. In the conclusion part, general thoughts about the conditional sentences are expressed.
