Istanbul the new capital of Arab media: The geopolitics changing of Arab media after the 2011 uprising

In the year 2010, the people of the Arab world called for a change in the dictatorial regimes that govern them, But the events took a different turn, affecting the whole region, and led to many changes, which have greatly influenced the media. After the year 2011, a large number of Arab political opponents has arrived in Turkey, and some of these people were journalists. Thus the country has become a place where they can announce their voices to the world freely. According to available statistics, the number of Arab journalists in Turkey is more than 3 thousand, working in more than 50 media institutions established in the country after the Arab Spring. This media has a strong influence in the Arab world, especially when it becomes the only voice of the opposition in the region. After any change of the situation in these journalists countries, are they going back home? Or will they keep working in Turkey? How does the existence of these journalists and their institutions in Turkey effect the diplomatic relations between Turkey and the countries they came from? And how could Turkey become a capital of the Arap media even if it is an Arab country? Those are some of the questions we are looking for answers in this research.
