Abstract (EN)
İn this study, virtue, which is the basic concept of Aristotles ethics, was tired to ve critacally adressedd in a wide perspective. İn the first part was announced the nature of the concept of virtue, the transformation of the concept of virtue from antiquity to medieval times and Aristotles famous middle way doctrine, respectivelly. İn the second part intellectual virtues and character virtues, which are among the virtues of the soul, are explained. While intellectual virtues are handled within a wide viewpoint, character virtues are tired to be one by one in separate passages.
