Özet (EN)
Although there are conflicts regarding when and from where the Hurrians came, it is known that in the V. Millennium B.C., with the Transcaucasian migration the Hurrians reached from Caucasia to Iran, East Anatolia, the upper Euphrates area, and the East Mediterranean shores of the Fertile Crescent. They survived until the end of the II. Millennium B.C., and during the IV. And III. Millenniums B.C., their presence in Erzurum, East Van lake as well as Malatya Aslantepe transformed into a State of Hurrian Mitanni as they got together with Mitanni in II. Millennium B.C. Here, we reviewed, in light of the excavation findings from the archeological centers, the advanced pottery forms, anthropomorphic hearths that were used in rituals, their mastery in horse training, and their literary work. We issued the trade, culture and religion from the perspective of the Hurrian society. We also monitored the Hurrian culture (also named as Karaz, Khirbet Kerak, and Kura-Aras) by tracking the ceramic forms obtained from the archeological excavations. Keywords: Hurrians, Mitanni, Subartu, Karaz, Khirbet Kerak, Kura-Aras, Kurgan, Cult hearths, Mythology
